We tried the simple experiment with milk food colouring and dish soap since we had some expired milk. We had milk in a shallow dish and added some drops of food colouring. We used gel food colouring but I do notice that friends who tried it with liquid food colouring yielded prettier results!
So we dipped a cotton bud with some dish soap and dipped it where the food colouring was. It made the colours swirl! Adriel didn't really care for the 'magic' but he had fun swirling the cotton bud to mix the colours. Go figure! Haha! But whatever rocks his world.
