This was my 3rd invitation to play! I had it set up in our play tray with the manta ray and octopus as the main characters. We did read a lot of the books on sea creatures after this and it sparked Adriel's interest in sea creatures and we have been reading a lot more about them of late!
Spelling the words helped him in making sense of them and he has learned the spelling of the words as we played! I also added little facts like the fact that the octopus has 8 legs and the manta ray has 1 tail. It was well loved!
