This was the 2nd dramatic play I did for Adriel. He needs to visit the doctor quite frequently and at that point in time, he hated it. He would cry when he enters the doctor's room and occasionally during therapy. So I really wanted to alleviate his fears so I worked on the hospital dramatic play.
The first dramatic play was the marketplace and it was a shift with more preparation needed as the hospital dramatic play had many laminated labels that required printing and laminating. I believe the labels are great to providing a print rich environment.

For a start, I purchased the dramatic play set up resources from Dream Big Little One Preschool Activities from TeacherspayTeachers.
I purchased tons of real life products such as bandages, tapes and syringes. I even took my BP machine and placed it in the play centre.
All the real stuff, many of which were from our first aid box.
Adriel also added his doctor's play kit in the set up.
I love including print rich displays.
We also had a height chart but it fell again and again!
We even had signage to indicate if we were open or closed..

This was for the various roles but we did not really utilise it previously.
Charts for eye checks etc.. Laminated so we could use markers on it.
Adriel was still pretty young when I did this so he could not really enjoy it completely.. it did meet my objective as he got more comfortable with the hospital settings and tools etc used and it made our doctor's visits way more pleasant.
And that, is a win for me. (:
